Using the Extensions downloader

The Extensions Downloader is a feature that allows you to download plugins and other extensions for SqueezeCenter. To use the Extensions Downloader, please do the following:

1. Go to SqueezeCenter and click Settings.

2. Select the Advanced tab.

3. Choose Extension Downloader from the drop-down.

   

4. Check the extension or plugin you want to install and click Apply.

   

5. You will see a new dialog box asking you to restart SqueezeCenter. Click OK and go to the Restart SqueezeCenter section below.

Restart SqueezeCenter

Windows:

1. Right-click the Squeezebox icon in your system tray and click 'Stop SqueezeCenter'.

   

2. Wait for SqueezeCenter to stop running.

3. Right-click on the SqueezeCenter icon in your system tray and click 'Start SqueezeCenter'.

   

Macintosh:

1. Go to System Preferences > Other.

2. Click SqueezeCenter.

3. Click ‘Stop Server’.

   

4. When the button changes to 'Start Server', click it again to restart SqueezeCenter.
