Tutorial: Analog/Digital Button Mode on Logitech Controllers for PlayStation2

To toggle between analog and digital button mode on Logitech controllers, please do the following:

1. Press the button marked Mode on the controller once the game has started.
2. The LED next to the Mode button will display one of the following statuses:
   • If the LED is lit the controller is in analog button mode.
   • If the LED is not lit the controller is in digital button mode.

NOTE: Many games will select the proper mode and lock the button mode automatically. Once in the game has started the Mode button will be disabled. Pressing the Mode button will not change the behavior of the buttons or LED.

To test the functionality of the Mode button please do the following:

1. Connect the Logitech controller and turn on the PlayStation2 with NO GAME in the drive.
2. Press the mode button and observe the LED behavior. The LED should behave as described above.
   

If the LED does not behave correctly the controller may be defective and should be replaced.
