The F540 Wireless Headset has an optimal range of up to 30 feet (or about 10 meters). If your range is less than this:

Charge your headset fully, in case the battery level is low.

Move the base station to a different and more open location within your setup. Some TVs and game consoles may generate strong interference in specific directions.

Place devices with strong radio antennas, such as wireless routers and 2.4GHz cordless phones, further away from the F540.

Move the base station to an open location on top of your entertainment center, especially if it is made of metal.
