Make sure you are connecting the microphone into the microphone jack on your sound card. If you are not sure which jack is the microphone jack, please refer to your sound card or computer documentation.
If you're using a USB headset or microphone, simply attach it to an available USB port on your system. USB headsets and microphones are supported on Windows 98SE and above. However, if you are using Windows 98SE, you may need your Windows CD to complete installation of the device. USB headsets and microphones are also supported on Mac OS 9 and OSX.
