If you are using Application Detection, you can have up to thirty profiles associated with your G500.
NOTE: Using Application Detection requires SetPoint 5.0 or above to be installed.
If you use the onboard memory you can only have a single profile. However, this profile is portable and can be used on any computer, whether or not Logitech Mouse and Keyboard software (SetPoint) is installed.
