Cause:
There could be several reasons as to why the Wireless DJ Remote does not work. These include, but are not limited to batteries being low on charge, batteries being improerly installed, or connection issues.
Solution:
1. If you are installing the Wireless DJ Music System for the first time, check if the batteries are properly installed.
2. Charge the remote if necessary.
3. Press the Power button on the remote to restart the remote. The boot up screen should say OK and the Home menu will appear.
4. If the Connection Failed screen appears on the LCD, the remote is not communicating with the USB Music Transmitter. Verify that the remote is within range of the transmitter. Try moving it closer to your PC.
5. Determine if the PC is turned off. Restart the PC if necessary
6. Ensure that the StreamPoint software is running; the icon should appear in the Windows system tray.
