Tutorial: Deleting Video

There are two preferred methods for deleting WiLife video files.

1. In Playback or Search Mode, as you play back stored video, you can right click on the video segment as it is playing. You will receive a prompt that will allow you to select “delete video segment.” This will delete that particular segment.
2. In Playback or Search mode you can right click on a segment in the timeline to delete it.

We do not recommend deleting individual video clips in the directory where the segments are archived. However, you can delete individual clips by doing the following:

1. Go to Setup > Advanced
2. Click the  the "Rebuild Video List" button.

This process can take a while depending on how much video you have stored.  You will continue to see video segments in the timeline for the file that have been deleted until you Rebuild Video List.
