Tutorial: How can I add my X10 light controller?

To add your X10 device to your Harmony Remote, follow the steps below:

1. Login to your Harmony home page.
2. Click the Devices button on your home page
3. Click Add a Device.
3. Select Home Automation and click Next.
4. Select Light Controller and click Next.
5. Select the manufacturer and enter the model number.

Note: Many X10 devices are RF (radio frequency) controlled. The Harmony remote can send IR (infrared) signals only. X10 sells an IR adaptor (the IR543) which integrates into the X10 network allowing a Harmony Remote to control X10 devices. Refer to your X10 documentation to verify whether your X10 controller is capable of receiving IR.
