If you have a USB that is not working correctly you should check to see if it has lost its MAC address. To see the USB's MAC address you can do the following:
- In Command Center go to Setup-Advanced
- Click on the Diagnostics button at the bottom.
- Once diagnostics has finished running and brings up the informations screen, scroll down until you see Powerline USB Adapter in bold and check the MAC address right below it.
To reset the MAC address, please do the following:
- Close and exit Werks
- Run Utility, entering the MAC address when prompted.
NOTE: You need to type in the last 6 digits of the USB receiver's MAC address of USB receiver. This can be found on the back of the USB device. - Press reprogram button and allow utility to finish. Message should indicate successful reprogram.
- Unplug USB cable from PC . Verify that cable is disconnected from PC, not unplugged from wall outlet.
- Reconnect USB cable to PC
- Wait one minute and then restart Command Center. If you set a private password in Command Center you will get a prompt to reset password. You should reenter the same password.
If camera is not discovered on its own, go to Command Center>SetUp>Advanced> then Find My Cameras and follow the onscreen steps.
