The simplest step to clear many issues that cause system crash is to reboot your PC (meaning to completely power down your PC). This is effective because it registers .dll files
A second reason for system crashes is that there are issues with the physical memory or some other hardware, like a fan, on your host PC.
Here are some useful hardware diagnostics tools to check the health of your PC:
- Run the memtest86+ utility for at least an hour: http://www.memtest.org/
- Windows Memory Diagnostics http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
(This requires downloading and making a boot disk, it will run multiple memory checks)
- Prime95 http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm (run for a few hours)
D. Speedfan http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
Please run these tests and resolve the issues these test uncover.
If you still experience your system crashes after completing the above steps, please send your complete diagnostics or at least your.dmp file(s) and WiLife infomation files to WiLife Technical support.
To run diagnostics Go to Setup> Advanced and press the Diagnostics button on the lower right corner of the screen. Choose "Send Diagnostics to Support" and Select "Complete diagnostics". This runs a series of tests which will take a minute to complete. A file called "WiLifeSupportinfo.zip ( for 2.0 and above) or WerksSupportinfo.zip (for 1.6 and below) will be on your desktop.
If you are unable to run diagnostics please send the files manully. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WiLife and choose the Command Center or the LukWerks file and copy and send to WiLife Technical support.
