The password that protects the camera video signal is stored in the camera power supply, the USB receiver module and in your PC application. This combination provides security across the network by encrypting the video signal. For example, if you have two cameras with two different passwords (from two separate installations) and switch the power supplies between them, it will also switch the passwords.
Again, the password is stored in the camera power supply, the USB receiver module and in your PC, not in the camera in 1.5 and below. Camera will store password in the firmware in 1.6 and above.
To reset Cameras use a paperclip to press into the small hole next to the CAT-5 cable connection on the Indoor Camera, on back of Spy Camera and on bottom of Outdoor Camera.
With Camera connected to Power Supply press for a few seconds and release button and the Camera will cycle and the password in the Camera and Indoor Camera Power Supply will be reset to the factory default. Then Discover New camera in WiLife application Setup> Advanced> Add New or Find My Cameras
