Use Amazon Alexa with ZeroTouch

To enable Alexa to work with ZeroTouch, simply go to the ZeroTouch settings, tap on Amazon Alexa, and then log in. You will then be prompted to log in with your Amazon account. Make sure your device location, time zone, temperature and distance units are set up correctly in the Alexa app. Once logged in, you can check the weather by saying a command, such as “Alexa, what’s the weather in San Francisco next Tuesday”, or set an alarm by saying, “Alexa, set an alarm for 3 pm”, or read an audiobook, by saying “Alexa, resume my book”.
 
Download the Alexa App from the Google Play Store to personalize your Alexa experience. You can select Flash Briefing news sources and your favorite sports teams, link your Google calendar, access your Shopping and To-do lists, and update your device location. For example:
 
“Alexa, add milk to my Shopping list.”
Alexa adds milk to your Shopping list in the Alexa App.
 
“Alexa, what are my events today?”
Alexa announces the list of events on your Google calendar.
 
Extend your Alexa experience by enabling Alexa Skills. In the Alexa App, tap the menu icon and then select Skills from the menu. There, you will find a whole library of Alexa Skills that you can enable and use. Some examples of Skills available include the following:
 
“Alexa, play Jeopardy.”
“Alexa, ask Twitter what is happening.”
“Alexa, set my Nest thermostat to 70 degrees.”
“Alexa, play Jazz on Amazon Music.”

Please note, TuneIn Radio and iHeartRadio are not compatible with ZeroTouch at this time.
 
Alexa and ZeroTouch interactions are distinguishable by two features:

1. Audibly — Alexa’s voice and ZeroTouch’s voice are different.
2. Visually — Alexa interactions will prompt the Amazon Alexa icon to appear on your phone’s screen.
