Rugged Lite does not work when first connected

If your keyboard does not work, or the LED does not light up when you connect your Rugged Lite to the iPad for the first time, try the following steps:

1. Make sure you remove the pull tag from the battery tray at the top edge of the keyboard.
2. The keyboard turns on automatically when you place the iPad in the typing position. Make sure you have the right iPad placed to turn on the keyboard.
3. If the keyboard doesn’t enter pairing mode (LED fast blinking in White), long press the Bluetooth button for two seconds until the LED blinks rapidly.
4. If the LED doesn’t light up at all, use a paperclip or screwdriver to pry open the battery holder from the top of the keyboard, then use compressed air or blow into the battery compartment.
